Verizon was shooting a broadcast spot with NFL players to support the NFL app and asked at the last minute what we could do with five minutes of camera time with each player. Their goal was to promote their partnership with the NFL app.
We quickly concepted “Closer to the Game,” where players explain their personal take on one core element of the game, in relation to their position. Loosely scripted, I worked with each player on green screen to get what we needed. The result was over 10 digital shorts used to promote the NFL app.
